Led by an investment banking team of Bear Stearns, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, metroPCS went public on the New York Stock Exchange in April of this year with the third largest IPO in history. An equally impressive roster of venture investors in metroPCS participated in the IPO, including TA Associates, Accel Partners, Battery Ventures, M/C Venture Partners, Madison Dearborn Partners, and Flagship Ventures among others. One of the early venture investors in metroPCS was Dallas-based Silver Creek Ventures.
