Caruth Institute: Southwest Venture Forum

How to Submit Your Business Plan to SWVF

We encourage you to submit your Business Plan to the Southwest Venture Forum for possible presentation at our next forum. The deadline for submission is six weeks before the next forum. After we receive your plan, it is competitively ranked by our program committee. If your plan is selected for presentation, you will be sent instructions and guidelines for your presentation. Please refer to the format guidelines below.

Format Guidelines:

We request that you prepare and submit an EXECUTIVE SUMMARY that addresses:

1) The business concept or business opportunity.
2) Your existing or proposed products and/or services.
3) The industry in which you will operate and your target markets.
4) Accomplishments of key management personnel (feel free to attach resumes).
5) Summarized 5 year financial projections of sales, profit and cash flows.
6) What you are seeking in order to build your company.

NOTE: Please limit your Executive Summary to no more than 3 pages.
